Web site. My name is Ned Doerr and as a musician for the last 40
years I've spent most of my time searching for an affordable, yet
profitable way to get my music out to the public. I've also spent
years searching for a place to record that also could, and would,
produce a quality product, it just didn't happen!
Frustrated and fed up I went out and bought my own Teac four track
machine in 1979 and put together a small studio. Initially it was
supposed to be for me and/or my bands, but I soon found myself
recording and producing other artists as well. As my experience and
track usage grew however I found myself back in the same situation,
searching for an affordable, but "Kick Butt" sounding studio. I
could only record and bounce so many tracks, so I would do what I
could at my studio then head to the "Bigger" studio to complete the
project. It was still very expensive and for the most part resulted
in less than desired results, hence no "Kick Butt"! Finally in 1994
I just couldn't take it anymore and put together my own 24 track
digital ADAT studio,
AKA Recording Studio.
In
November 2006 I did some recording sessions at another studio and
they were using the Roland 2480. I was so impressed with the
features, sound and overall quality that in January 2007 I purchased
my own. Now I can "automix" (saving the need for more than 10
fingers with a span of an entire keyboard to manual mix), copy
tracks, etc. In addition all the outboard gear I had I no
longer need because everything's built right in the 2480!

you sound, and will do everything in it's power to help get your
sound heard, or you plan on shopping your next project to the
